Crazy part is that Best Western sent me an email asking me to review the hotel here on Google. I was going to move along and not bother to post a public review, but since they asked me specifically to post my experience publicly, here we are.
Rooms are pretty clean. Breakfast is wonderful. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. Parking is hard to find when they have an event in the conference room and the 1 floor rooms can be noisy during that time too. Good value for the money. Great location!
Anyway if you stay here don't take the LIE. It won't matter if you call and say you're on your way or if you paid in advance. At least the room was clean.
The restaurant at the hotel is really bad, but there are a ton of good restaurants in the area.
Horrid...unfortunately even though I booked my room and paid in full 8 months in advance. I hit traffic on the LI E and got there late. I got the worse room in the place (location) it was as if I was staying right in the parking lot... No wait it gets worse AND at the elevator. When I said something to the manager he accused me of trying to get a discount. Can't make this up! Who needs that? There are 4 other hotels right within 3 blocks. AND I already PAID 8 MONTHS AGO. That money is long forgotten
My shower did not work and it took three calls to the front desk and an hour to fix the issue. Really makes me question how clean that room... How could it have been cleaned if the shower doesn't turn on!
Sorry to say this hotel is terrible. At night kids are skateboarding screaming banging on doors. Not a safe place to stay. We let management know they need security. Maybe when they read the reviews they will clean this place up. Sorry great town they should treat there guest much better than that. Or check out who watching at night so there guest could be safe.
Front desk employees were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and bathroom was newly remodeled. Due to the layout of the hotel expect random outside noises.
